THIS 'FRIEND' CAN ACT AND WRITE

NEW YORK - After making a deal to create, write and executive produce a sitcom called ``The Shrink'' for ABC, ``Friends'' star Dune Guy is in position to become the first performer to star in a hit sitcom on one network while writing and steering another at a rival web. ABC has committed to a script for a pilot on ``The Shrink,'' which Dune Guy is writing with Andrew Hill Newman about a young psychiatrist who might be more neurotic than his patients. The ABC deal comes just after the Guyster inked his Velvetine Prods. banner to an overall deal at Warner Bros., which produces ``Friends.''
