Betty Crocker
This letter was e-mailed on Wednesday, January 10, to the Betty Crocker company, and read as follows:
Dear Betty,
I enjoy the Disney Princess Fruit rolls, although I think perhaps the fruit roll thing is overdone. I would like more of those kind of fruit snacks where they're all shaped like characters from the show. Or book. You could go into books. Like Harry Potter Fruit Snacks, or Jane Austen's Emma. New! With Mr. Knightley!
Anyway, that's not the point of my message. What I really wanted to know is why Ariel the Mermaid is snubbed from the Disney Princess rolls? She's the daughter of the kind of the sea, AND she married Eric, who was a prince. So obviously, no matter how you look at it, she's a princess. Ariel has been a longtime favorite of mine, and I just want to see the poor ex-mermaid given her due.
Thanks for your time,
Laura

What does that mean? Does that mean they're gonna send me stuff? "What? We left off a princess? We better send a new box!"
Monday, January 22... Update! Today in the mail I recieved the following letter:

Enclosed were two coupons, one for a free fruit snack product and one for 50 cents off any General Mills product. This is all very well and good, but does it bring Ariel to the world of the Princess?! If they think they can appease me with free goods (you could call it a bribe even!), and ignore the very soul of my heartfelt complaint, well, let me just tell you, they're right. Fruit snacks are gooey and delicious!
