Some parents criticize the game Rock Band for encouraging kids to belt out songs with obscene or offensive lyrics. Personally, I don't think kids really have the background knowledge or interest to be as weirded out as they really ought to be by Steven Tyler singing about how he's in heat; and besides, Harmonix really seems to have made an effort to make the lyrics more family-friendly. Since I only ever listen to Broadway musicals, I don't know the lyrics of the originals that well, but I am pretty sure these are altered.
