Paul, Nate and Laura c. 1993
Gullible's Travels
Chefelf
by: Chefelf

In the summer of 1993 Paul, Nate and Laura went to England. We'd like to say that after three weeks we returned to the United States with a better understanding of English life and culture. Unfortunately we were young and stupid so all we came back with was stories about hanging around the place we stayed watching "Telly". Also we went to see Jurrasic Park... great flick!

Nate kept a journal of his travels in Great Britain... Paul and Laura kept similar books but filled them with silly drawings. Presented here for the first time is Chef "Nate" Elf's English Travel Journals.... enjoy.

[The words in red are the words of Present Day Nate. You don't think that's too vain do you?]

Week Three
Day 15
Friday August 6, 1993

2:07 P.M.
We woke up and ate then we realised that we're not going to London after all. We searched and searched on the map and couldn't find Abbey Road. We're going to go to the bookstore instead, cheers!

[You know what? I'm willing to bet that it was on the map but that we were too stupid to look hard enough to actually find it.]

4:06 P.M.
I'm in the bathroom at Burger King and I figured, why not! Paul's waiting for me in a record store. We're getting CDs or Jeeves and Wooster and the London Philharmonic. A bunch of Germans just came in so I'm leaving. Bye!

11:55 P.M.
I'm listening to Weird Al and we just read another rather painful excerpt from Exile. We went to see Jurassic Park this afternoon. It was magnificent except for the schmucks in front of us. I think they just left a circus troupe or something.

[Today's grade: F+, Our last day to see London and Abbey Road and we botched it up. Disappointed!]

End of Day 15
Next time: We watch yet more Telly and make popcorn explode!
